Where does the UFC buy their doors and why do coaches hate them so much?

I just wanted to jot down a few thoughts about the ultimate fighter from last night. Full disclosure, I wasn’t able to watch it wire to wire because it conflicted with the Spurs game, but of course I made time for the fights.

Casey Uscola may have the best Muay Thai technique in the world. I have never seen someone with the power to knock a guy out with a knee strike to the hand. Wherever he trains we all need to go (kneed to go).

Where does the UFC buy their doors and why do coaches hate them so much? I’ve seen bead curtains take a better beating and stay in one piece.

Remember a few seasons ago when Coach Tito Ortiz took on Coach Ken Shamrock? At that time Tito was doing to Ken what Chuck Liddell is currently doing to Tito, shutting him out. I don’t know what this says about the importance of coaching. Either it means a lot and the pecking order from bottom to top goes Shamrock, Ortiz, Liddell or these fighters are coming in with enough skill to minimize the coaching influence. I lean toward the latter but only time will tell.

Jamie Yeager is quick. Imagine if he cut his hair and increased his aerodynamics. I wouldn’t want to wreck that Eddie Guerro look though (wasn’t that the character’s name on Tekken?)
